The annual IEEE student paper contest for the Northeast Area will be held on April 16, 2011 at Boise State University. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. NOTE THAT THE CRITERIA ARE BASED LARGELY ON WRITTEN AND ORAL PRESENTATION SKILLS, NOT ON THE SCIENCE OR TECHNOLOGY ITSELF. THIS MEANS THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE INVOLVED IN RESEARCH, YOU COULD USE A PAPER YOU DID FOR AN ENGINEERING CLASS. The rules for the IEEE student paper contest can be downloaded from the web site: http://ewh.ieee.org/r6/montana/student.html 2011 rules are the same as the 2010 rules. Prizes are awarded to the top three papers, and the first place paper goes on to the Region 6 contest normally held in September. If you are interested please contact me! BSU has not been involved the last couple years, lets get involved and show everyone what BSU students have got to offer!! Please contact me no later than March 15th. Tyler Rowe |
